Plastic Expansion Agent PEA-2 is a expansion Agent in powder form. In an alkaline environment, it forms uniform and dense micropores to enable the system to produce micro-expansion in the plastic stage. The micro-expansion in setting time stops shrinkage.

During the cement hydration process, the surface treated Plastic Expansion Agent PEA-2 have certain hydrolysis resistance. It reacts slowly with water under alkaline conditions to produce gas, which can make the cement mixture expand before curing. Plastic Expansion Agent PEA-2 is mainly used to various cement based Grouts, Grouting Agent, Tile Grouts, CTA, and Concretes, which need plastic expansion. The suggested dosage is 0.01~0.5% (PBW) of total powdery materials.
